The History

Persekutuan Tiong-Hua
Johor Baru is a leading Chinese organization with a history of 80
years. It is located in the heart of Johor Baru City at Taman Sri
Tebrau, Johor Baru.

It was established in
1922. It is the rebirth of the "The Chinese Overseas Association of
Johor" after the dismissal of "Ngee Heng Kong Si" and is now known
as Persekutuan Tiong-Hua Johor Baru.

It is a affiliated by
more than 50 Chinese Associations.

It played an important
and significant role during the Sino-Japanese War. The associations tried their
utmost to give relieve to the war refugee.
The Objectives

To advance and sustain
the welfare of the Chinese in Malaysia, culturally,socially and
economicwise.

To promote goodwill and
fellowship among all the Chinese and the other races in Malaysia.

To subscribe to any
local or other charities and to grant donations for any patriotic or
public purpose.

To establish, maintain
and administer scholarship funds.
